In the Bible book of Exodus, just before God informed the Israelites of the impending manna miracle, here's what happened in Exodus 16:4 "Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not."<BR/><BR/>The author's thought was that the greater test came when God met their needs day-after-day-after-day.<BR/><BR/>It's easy to trust God when He seems to show up now & then and bail us out.
