I need your help on an assignment. In 1-3 sentences, please tell me what Christmas means to you. Anything - friends, family, presents, Jesus - any comment is fair game. I need to collect as many of these as I can by Thursday. HELP! :-)

Christmas to me is family. Its a time when I can always count on there to be unconditional love and joy, with my loved ones gathered around me. It is also means hope to me. Hope for the fact the Jesus was born on that day to save me from myself.
The current incarnation of the Winter Solstice celebration, Christmas, is a blight upon society. It has been propagated by the media since the early 1900s and must be reformed. The date of the 25th was chosen by Emperor Constantine as a way to convert the pagans to christianity. Christmas has no biblical basis and how does giving presents to eachother commerate the birth of Christ our savior? I love spending time with my family in the holiday season. But there is so much wrong with the holiday. Distribution of wealth in this country is already so skewed, christmas just helps make it worse. I know this is more than three sentences... so take what you like. I have a lot to say about it. The first two sentences are the thesis for a research paper I am writing.
